Carlos Álvarez Pereira

Mr. Alvarez has advised companies in labour and employment issues for more than forty years. He has been the leader of retirement plans, collective bargaining processes and restructuring plans. He has litigated in a large number of lawsuits before the ordinary Labor judges as well as cassation proceedings before the Honorable Supreme Court of Justice.

Lawyer of the Universidad Javeriana, specialized in labour, employment and social security law, in the same university, and specialized in Evidentiary Law and Cassation in the Institute of Juridical Sciences. He has performed as Chief of the Labor Division and Deputy Secretary of the Ministry of Labor, Associate Justice of the Supreme Court of Justice – Labor Cassation Chamber, and President of the School of Labor Lawyers. Mr. Alvarez is a business advisor in labor, employment and social security matters since 1964. He is a founding partner of the firm.

Member of the Ibero - american Labour Law and Social Security Association and member of the School of Labour Lawyers.
