Eugene L Chang

Eugene Chang is a partner in the Intellectual Property Department who practices on the cutting edge of intellectual property, data rights, antitrust and bankruptcy law. He counsels clients on licensing, outsourcing, joint development, and other arrangements across a wide range of fields, including insurtech, fintech, artificial intelligence (including generative AI) and blockchain applications, and on intellectual property issues arising in complex transactions, like private equity investments, mergers and acquisitions, public and private offerings, bankruptcy-related acquisitions and restructuring, and standards-related licensing programs. He also litigates patent, trade secret, trademark and copyright issues in the United States and internationally across a wide range of technology areas, including software, pharmaceuticals, data rights, manufacturing equipment, electronics and medical devices.
