Esther Gorjón is a Partner at Mavens, the Firm´s Litigation Team, where she advises mainly on civil and commercial disputes. She is actively involved in both litigious and non-litigious proceedings, mainly in the following areas:

Private law generally, and real estate, contract, and tort law in particular, including product liability.

Litigation arising from construction contracts and liability for construction defects, general contractual terms and unfair clauses in banking contracts, and the breach of contracts for the sale and purchase of companies and warranties for hidden liabilities.

Advising financial entities on the enforcement of in rem and personal guarantees for the recovery of credits, sale of loan portfolios, and proceedings regarding the validity and breach of banking agreements.

Insolvency proceedings: claw-back actions.

Inheritance law

She also advises on economic criminal law, especially, in misappropriation, fraud, criminal insolvency and corporate offences and conflicts between shareholders of a criminal nature.

Additionally, she has wide experience in advising companies pertaining to several sectors in the design and implementation of compliance programs and legal risk assessment systems.
