Ernest Martin

Ernest Martin, Chair of the Insurance Recovery Group, exclusively represents corporate policyholders in complex insurance disputes. When insurance companies refuse to pay claims, defense costs, settlements, or judgments, corporate clients call him to represent their interests against those insurance companies. Martin uses his vast experience, knowledge of key insurance principles, insight into how insurance companies operate, and understanding of his client’s business objectives to maximize insurance recoveries. He is co-founder and founding chair of the Insurance Law Section of the State Bar of Texas and serves as adjunct professor of insurance law at SMU Law School.
