About

Provided by Haynes and Boone, LLP

Our insurance recovery lawyers help clients through the entire insurance coverage lifecycle – from obtaining the best available terms and conditions of coverage on the “front-end” of policy procurement to addressing and resolving insurance claim disputes through litigation, mediation, and arbitration. We focus on recovering large settlements from, and rulings against, insurers in cases across the country. We helped one of the nation’s largest automotive companies in a residual value insurance case reach a nine-figure settlement just before the end of trial – one of the largest settlements of its kind. We also serve as Special Insurance Coverage Counsel to the Boy Scouts of America in its Chapter 11 proceeding in which the reorganization plan proposed currently has a compensation fund totaling more than $2.6 billion, which would the largest aggregate sexual abuse settlement in U.S. history.

We work with clients, from Fortune 100 companies to smaller businesses, in numerous industries, including energy, healthcare, hospitality, financial services, real estate, construction, automotive and other transportation, telecommunications, religious and other non-profit, manufacturing, and private equity, and with individual directors and officers (D&Os) of companies. Our Insurance Recovery Practice Group can provide quantifiable return on investment based on a client’s level of recovery.
