Career
Enrique is partner of the firm since 2001 and is the director of the departments of Competition & Consumer Protection, Labor Law, Social Security & Immigration, Data Protection & Privacy, and Exchange Law. In addition, he is the co-head of the Life Science practice.
Enrique was member of the first National Counsel of Social Security in Health, which issued the norms that structured the current health system by the Law 100 of 1993. He is also an advisor to the Association of Pharmaceutical Laboratories in Research and Development (AFIDRO) and to several companies in the pharmaceutical sector, mainly in regulatory and competition matters.
He was president of ANDI from 2007-2008.
Enrique has been recognized by Chambers & Partners as one of the leading attorneys in Colombia in the areas of Competition/Anti-Trust and Life Sciences, and was awarded the “Client’s Choice Awards 2014” in Competitive Law matters.
