Career

Andrés joined the firm in 2004 and is a partner since 2014. He is the director of the department of State Contracting and Infrastructure and co-head of the Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) practice.

Andrés has been involved in multiple cross-border mergers and acquisitions (M&A) transactions in various sectors, and his areas of expertise also include advising companies in procurement processes and large-scale infrastructure projects, as well as in corporate, commercial and competition law matters.

He has been recognized by Legal 500 and Best Lawyers as a leading lawyer in Colombia in Corporate Law and M&A, and obtained the recognition as "Deal Maker of the Year, 2015," awarded by Finance Monthly (UK).
