Ángela joined the firm in 2009 and is a partner since 2021, she co-heads the department Mining and Natural Resources team. She holds a law degree and a post-graduate degree in Environment Law from Universidad de Rosario in Bogotá, and also has a post-graduate degree in Community Law from Université Paris II Panthéon-Assas.
With more than 15 years of experience as a lawyer, Ángela has dedicated ten years to mining and environmental matters.
She led the financing processes for the construction of the two most modern gold mines in Colombia. Her experience includes advising mining companies in processes of subtraction of forest reserve areas.
Additionally, Ángela acts as counsel for companies of different sectors of the economy in the attention of sanction processes initiated by environmental authorities.
