Ed's practice combines over 30 years of experience with innovative solutions in securitization and secured financing transactions. He specializes in the financing of term and revolving assets, with a primary focus on residential mortgages, HELOCS, and mortgage-related assets, including servicing rights, as well as more esoteric assets and structures.

His extensive experience includes representing issuers, investment banks, and credit enhancement providers in mortgage-backed and asset-backed structured finance transactions, as well as advising management and investors on private equity funds that invest in securitized assets.

Ed is adept at developing creative financing structures for various assets, including residential and commercial mortgage servicing rights, Ginnie Mae servicing advances, home equity lines of credit and the commutation of financial guaranty insurance policies. He has successfully established securitization programs and has structured, negotiated, and documented both domestic and international transactions for a wide range of financial assets, including residential and commercial mortgages, small business loans, future receivables, computer leases, equipment leases, trade receivables, synthetic leases, and corporate debt.
