Eduardo is the firm's regional Managing Partner and the son of Eduardo Mayora Dawe, the founder of Mayora & Mayora. Since 1980, he has been a practicing attorney and notary and has pursued various postgraduate studies in legal and economic subjects, including two doctoral degrees.

A nationally renowned Guatemalan jurist, his professional practice includes banking, finance, commercial, securities, arbitration, administrative and tax matters. Eduardo has worked for prestigious clients such as Philip Morris and Productos Roche, among others.

He has also had renowned stints in academia and opinion journalism, as a university professor and lecturer in Guatemala and abroad, and was the Dean of the Law School at Universidad Francisco Marroquín for a decade.

His awards include being recognized as a leading lawyer in banking, finance, tax and corporate law by agencies such as Chambers & Partners, The Legal 500, LACCA and IFLR1000, as well as being the recipient of the 2019 Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award by Marquis Who´s Who.
