Practice focuses on the resolution of franchise law disputes on behalf of franchisors through trial, appeal, mediation, or arbitration. Has worked on significant Canadian class actions as well as injunctions and franchise terminations. Speaks regularly at Canadian Franchise Association, Ontario Bar Association, and International Franchise Association events. Also has significant experience in a multitude of other areas including product liability, securities litigation, contract disputes, regulatory investigations, and other commercial litigation practice areas. Recognized as a leading practitioner in Franchise Law by Who’s Who Legal and Best Lawyers and listed as a Legal Eagle by Franchise Times. Is the Chair of the Ontario Bar Association Franchise Section and speaks regularly at Canadian Franchise Association, International Franchise Association and other industry events.
