Derek F. Ladgenski

Derek concentrates his practice in leveraged finance, representing lead arrangers, administrative agents and lenders in leveraged buyouts, acquisition financings, going-private transactions, growth capital investments, refinancings and troubled credits. His practice spans a wide variety of deal sizes and types, from large-market, broadly syndicated and unitranche credit facilities of more than $1 billion for equity sponsor portfolio acquisitions and refinancings to smaller, sole lender financings. His clients consist of a wide array of industry leaders and include specialty finance companies, private debt funds, business development companies, CLOs, hedge funds and banks. Derek also has a unique expertise in lending to national and international franchisors, franchisees and restaurant concepts.

Partner at Katten since 2007 and is a member of the firm’s Board of Directors.
