Deepak is the co-head in the Energy, Infrastructure & Natural Resources practice at IndusLaw.
Deepak has advised clients in sectors such as ports, highways, Mass Rapid Transit System, renewable energy, waste management and water management. Deepak specializes in advising clients in project development involving drafting of procurement contracts, operation and maintenance contracts, tender documents, including acquisition of land for projects.
In the past Deepak has advised clients in many prestigious PPP projects like Hyderabad Metro Rail project etc. He presently specializes in renewable energy projects both in utility scale as well as C&I projects.
Deepak also advises the firm’s clients on disputes emanating from power purchase agreements and commercial contracts and represents them before High Courts, National Company Law Tribunal, Electricity Tribunals and arbitration proceedings.
Deepak also specializes in contract management and has advised developers in risk mitigation and pre-arbitration analysis/strategy of potential disputes.
