Dawn Dickson is a Partner in our HRPG Group in Scotland. Dawn has considerable experience in advising on the Human Resources issues within the ever changing legal environments in which our clients work. Where possible, Dawn works with her clients to ensure that pragmatic and commercial solutions are reached for our client's businesses whenever work place disputes arise.
Dawn's role involves working closely with employers to ensure that the employment relationship is set up correctly from the outset, employees are engaged and the risks to our client's business are carefully managed should the need for the termination of employment arise. Dawn regularly works with her clients on the restructuring of their businesses including the need for redundancies and changes to terms and conditions of employment. A key focus for Dawn is to ensure that our client's policies and procedures reflect the standards of conduct, performance and culture that are required within their organisations. Her recent experience includes conducting a 20 day discrimination and constructive dismissal claim, defending a Local Authority in a high profile whistleblowing and equal pay claim and advising on the exit terms of an outgoing Chief Executive as part of a £21 million takeover deal.
