David acts for listed and private companies across technology, retail, professional services, telecommunications and other sectors. He is especially regarded for his expertise in drafting and negotiating complex purchase price mechanisms in sale and purchase agreements.

David advises on public and private M&A, equity capital markets, IPOs, takeovers and schemes of arrangement, corporate and commercial advisory and corporate governance. He also advises on Corporations Act and ASX Listing Rules compliance.

David is particularly recognised for his technical expertise and his ability to comprehend and explain complex M&A issues to clients clearly. Corporate/M&A

EBM Capital - advising the second largest shareholder in a Pacific Equity Partners-led consortium acquiring Australian logistics company Freight Management Holdings from leading Asia Pacific logistics provider SingPost for A$1.02 billion.

Freight Management Holdings - advising the shareholders of Freight Management Holdings (the owners of leading 4PL service provider efm Logistics) in four transaction tranches involving Singapore Post. Through these transactions, in each of the years 2020 through 2023, Singapore Post has acquired 100% of Freight Management Holdings for a total of around A$500 million.

Original Juice Co. - advising The Original Juice Co. Ltd in its acquisition of fruit and vegetable processor SPC Global and the powdered milk business of infant formula producer Nature One Dairy in a scrip and cash deal. The deal valued SPC Global at A$212 million and Nature One at A$50 million.

Close the Loop - Acting for ASX-listed recycling and circular economy company, Close the Loop, in acquiring two US-based electronics refurbishing and trading companies, ISP Tek Services and Captive Trade Corp, for US$66 million (A$100 million).

Foil Drive - acting for motorised e-foil start-up Foil Drive on the sale of 31% of the shares to growth-focused private equity fund Glow Capital Partners.

Octopus Deploy - advising the shareholders of technology based DevOps business Octopus Deploy on the sale of a minority interest to US venture capital firm Insight Partners for A$221 million.

City Chic Collective – advising plus-size clothing retailer City Chic on the sale of 'Avenue' to FullBeauty Brands Inc. for A$18 million
