David A.N. Lever is a partner in McCarthy Tétrault’s Corporate Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions Group in Toronto. In addition, he is Co-Industry Group Leader of the firm’s Infrastructure Group and Co-Head of the firm’s Projects practice.
He is recognized as one of Canada’s leading projects experts with extensive experience in energy and infrastructure. His practice focuses on project development, project finance, construction, corporate finance, and mergers & acquisitions in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
David has extensive experience in financings in both the public and private markets and in public-private partnership arrangements and long-term contracts with governments. He represents developers, investors and lenders in connection with nuclear, hydro, co-generation, biomass, landfill gas, solar and wind power projects across Canada and the US. He also provides advice with respect to market design and energy procurement.
David also has significant experience in government procurements and the defence sector.
