David Crane

David is a partner in the Information Technology Law and Cyber/Data Groups of McCarthy Tétrault. His practice focuses primarily on complex, commercial technology-focused transactions, including business process and technology-based outsourcings, IT systems development, integration and implementation projects, inbound and outbound technology licensing, cloud (SaaS, IaaS, PaaS) services agreements, telecommunications services agreements and data sharing arrangements. David has over 20 years of experience helping clients, across industries and sectors, achieve success with their IT projects, including enterprise digital transformations, adoption of cutting-edge technologies, and other strategic or business-critical IT projects. He also provides strategic advice with respect to technology and data commercialization, intellectual property, e-commerce, privacy and data protection, cybersecurity, procurement, open source software, blockchain, artificial intelligence, anti-spam and social media.
