David Colvin

David is a skilled litigator and trial lawyer. With over 20 years of experience representing clients in high-stakes and high-profile disputes, David represents a range of multinational and mid-sized companies in federal and state courts throughout the United States.

Known for his thoughtful and practical approach to dispute resolution, David combines meticulous case preparation with a deep understanding of his clients’ business and legal objectives. David has a particular focus on representing companies in the hospitality, payments, manufacturing, energy, and pharmaceutical and life sciences industries in direct and putative class action disputes that typically involve claims related to breach of contract, business torts, unfair business practices, data privacy, TCPA and unclaimed property issues.

David also devotes a significant portion of his practice to representing lawyers and law firms. In addition to serving as outside general counsel to small and mid-sized firms, David is frequently called upon by law firms or individual lawyers to represent them in partnership disputes, lawyer departure disputes, fee disputes and professional responsibility matters.

In law school, David spent two years as a member of the Villanova University School of Law Moot Court Board.

In college, David was an intern for a United States Senator.
