David N. Cinotti represents clients in complex commercial litigation, international disputes, and appeals across a wide variety of industries.
His diverse experience includes matters involving enforcement of arbitration agreements and awards, bankruptcy litigation, securities regulation and class-action defense, RICO and fraud claims, data and Internet privacy, breach of contract, business torts, unconstitutional treatment of property rights, cross-border and multi-jurisdictional issues, and white-collar criminal defense. He is often involved in cases to address complex legal issues on dispositive motions and appeals and has regularly litigated important issues of first impression before trial and appellate courts in New Jersey and New York.
He is also often tapped by lawyers from out-of-state firms to provide local counsel on high-stakes litigation matters in New Jersey or New York. Additionally, David works with counsel outside the United States in international disputes and has extensive experience advising non-U.S. clients and counsel on U.S. law and legal procedures, including the applicability of 28 U.S.C. ยง 1782 to compel discovery. He has extensive experience with issues under the Federal Arbitration Act and the New York Convention and writes and comments on arbitration-related topics frequently. He is a Trustee of the AFB-NJ.
