Career

Founding partner of the law firm Borba, Simões Barbosa, Bessone, Cristofaro – BSBC Advogados, Daniela has been practicing law, in general, and mining law, in particular, for over 30 years. With extensive experience and knowledge in both preventive counseling and litigation, she has been advising national and foreign clients in different areas of law, such as M&A transactions, commercial contracts, arbitration and strategic litigation.

Based in Rio de Janeiro, she is a member of the Mining Commission of the Brazilian Bar Association – Section Rio de Janeiro (OAB/RJ).

Daniela is a former partner of Lobo & Ibeas Advogados (1996-2018) and a founding partner of Borba, Simões Barbosa, Bessone, Cristofaro Advogados – BSBC Advogados (May 2018-today), both Top Tier firms in the main international rankings.
