Daniel Moffett

Practice Areas

Mr. Moffett’s practice encompasses intellectual property litigation and client counseling, with a focus on complex patent, trade secret, and trademark litigation and advice. He is an experienced trial lawyer who has served as lead counsel and lead technical counsel in matters involving patent infringement, antitrust claims, and trade secret misappropriation. He also has first-chair experience representing clients in district courts and before the Patent Trial and Appeal Board in inter partes review proceedings.

His litigation experience spans a range of industries, including medical devices, biotechnology, animal genetics, data center technology, consumer products, software, and insurance services. In addition to litigation, his practice includes trademark prosecution, licensing and assignment of intellectual property, and advising clients on a broad range of intellectual property matters.
