Daniel is a prominent and highly experienced bankruptcy attorney who has handled a multitude of high-profile Chapter 11 cases throughout the country. He recently led the representation of creditors in LTL Management LLC and BlockFi Inc. Chapter 11 cases, two of the nation’s largest Chapter 11 cases.
Daniel’s experience also includes the representation of the unsecured creditors’ committees in Powin, LLC and in the Bennett Funding Group Chapter 11 case, which, at the time, was the largest Ponzi scheme in American history. In addition, he has represented the debtor in MacGregor Sporting Goods, NVE, Inc. (Manufacturer of Stacker II products), Zucker, Goldberg & Ackerman, LLC, Liberty Harbor Holdings, LLC, Laila Rowe Stores, Lana Lobell Farms and Closter Shopping Plaza, among others.
A frequent speaker on a wide array of bankruptcy topics, Daniel has presented programs for the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education and was chosen to consistently provide important bankruptcy case law updates at the Hon. William H. Gindin Bench Bar Conference. He has authored numerous articles on bankruptcy and insolvency issues and has been quoted in many national publications, including the New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes Magazine, Law360, Bloomberg Law, The Star Ledger, the Bergen Record and the New Jersey Law Journal, among others. He also appeared on Bill Kurtis’ Investigative Reports program on the A&E Network.
