Daniel Daines

Daniel Daines is a corporate transactional partner in the Salt Lake City office of Kirkland & Ellis LLP practicing in private equity mergers, acquisitions, divestitures and investments; growth equity and venture capital investments; recapitalization and (in and out of court) restructuring transactions and other complex and transformative business transactions; and general corporate matters and counseling for middle market companies. A significant portion of his practice involves representation of private equity fund sponsors and their portfolio companies operating in the technology, life sciences, healthcare, and financial services industries, where he has experience counseling and mentoring clients through all business stages, from startup to exit transactions.
