Cibelle Linero is one of BMA’s Employment partners, acting both in litigation and in advisory matters.
Cibelle advises national and international companies on employment matters, including litigation prevention. Her work includes drafting and reviewing employment contracts and internal policies, designing and implementing short- and long-term variable compensation plans, and negotiating with labor unions on profit sharing plans and other subjects. She is also active in litigation before the Labor Courts and at the administrative level, including monitoring inquiries initiated by the Public Labor Prosecution Service.
She also supports BMA’s Corporate teams in employment matters arising out of mergers and acquisitions (including salary and benefit equalization plans), and works together with various other practice areas, such as Compliance (notably in investigations involving employments and in preparing and conducting training sessions on moral and sexual harassment), Digital Law and Data Privacy (compliance with Brazil’s General Data Protection Law in connection with human resources issues), Arbitration, and Tax and Social Security.
