Career
Charles Buderi is experienced in advising governments in connection with a wide range of Public International Law matters, including sovereignty disputes, multilateral and bilateral treaty matters, law of the sea, human rights and humanitarian law, UN affairs and diplomatic relations. He also represents states in investment and other international disputes, including in proceedings before the International Court of Justice and international arbitral tribunals. He served as legal adviser at the Iran US Claims Tribunal. His published works on international law include a recently released book on a long-running territorial dispute over islands.
