Career

Carolina Muñoz Con is the founding partner of According2Law, a boutique law firm in Costa Rica recognized for its expertise in dispute resolution, compliance, and anti-corruption. She has more than 23 years of experience advising public and private organizations across Latin America, with a focus on white-collar crime, cross-border litigation, arbitration, internal investigations, and corporate governance.

Before founding her firm in 2020, Carolina was a partner at one of the most prominent Central American law firms for over a decade. She has also served in the Costa Rican Prosecutor’s Office for Economic Crimes and in the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Munich, Germany. She is an international consultant and auditor for anti-bribery and compliance management systems (ISO 37001, ISO 37301, ISO 37002), and regularly trains companies, chambers of commerce, and international institutions on compliance and ethics.

Carolina has held prominent leadership roles, including President of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) Costa Rica (2023-2025) and Co-Convenor of the ISO TC/309 Developing Countries Coordination Group. She is consistently ranked in Chambers Latin America and Global for her work in dispute resolution and compliance.
