As a key partner in the firm’s corporate and M&A department as well as co-leading the Costa Rica disputes team, Esteban combines transactional and disputes perspectives to successfully advise clients in business-critical mandates, with a particular focus on preventive advice. He has led some of the most important M&A in the region, including the purchase of an iconic chocolate factory in Costa Rica by a Central American dairy multilatina, and has participated in more international investment disputes than any other lawyer in the region. Key clients include Johnson & Johnson, Boston Scientific, Cargill, Corteva, Dow and Dupont.
