Carlos Durán is a tax partner in the Barcelona office of Uría Menéndez. He headed up the Tax Practice Area of Uría Menéndez’s New York office from 2007 to 2010.
He has a wide range of experience in corporate tax matters and regularly advises on M&A deals, private equity transactions, real estate investments and on the international tax planning of Spanish investments abroad (especially in the U.S. and Latin America) and foreign investments in Spain.
Carlos frequently advises high net worth individuals on their tax planning, efficient remuneration schemes and is also engaged in tax litigation matters.
