Provides strategic advice and counsel to employers of all sizes on employment law issues including employment and contractor agreements, handbooks and workplace policies, compliance with human rights and accessibility laws, performance management, terminations, wrongful and constructive dismissal and enforcement of non-competition and non-solicitation agreements. Regularly advises on the employment law aspects of complex commercial transactions for both private and public companies across a variety industries, and supports cross-border clients with operations in Canada. Frequently acts as counsel for employers in civil and regulatory proceedings. Has appeared before the Court of Appeal for Ontario, Divisional Court, Ontario Superior Court of Justice, Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario, and Ontario Labour Relations Board.
