Bwalya Chilufya-Musonda is a partner in Bowmans’ Lusaka office. She specialises in corporate and financial law particularly in the fintech, mining and financial sectors. She has advised clients on a range of local and cross-border transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, disposals and capital market transactions. She has also advised on syndicated lending, corporate financing, project financing, export credit financing and debt restructuring. Her experience extends to tax and competition law.
She has an LLB from the University of Zambia, an LLM from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, Chicago, USA, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Legislative Drafting from the Zambia Institute of Advanced Legal Education.
