Bryon's trial practice is focused in the areas of intellectual property litigation, healthcare litigation, and commercial disputes. He currently serves as regional and national trial counsel for clients in the medical device, dialysis, and pharmaceutical fields. His intellectual property litigation experience includes patent, trademark, trade dress, trade secrets, licenses, Lanham Act, and copyright infringement matters. Bryon's healthcare litigation experience includes restrictive covenants, medical privileges/credentialing, Stark Act/Kickback violations, ERISA violations, and reimbursement disputes. Bryon's commercial litigation experience includes breach of contracts, partnership disputes, fiduciary duty violations, shareholder disputes, real estate development litigation, and real property rights. Bryon has trial experience at all levels of the court system and in varied jurisdictions. He is licensed in the states of New York, Utah and Washington. He has appeared via pro hac vice in approximately 25 states. He has tried cases to verdict in Utah, California, New Mexico, Washington, Idaho, and Texas, and represented clients before administrative boards and in arbitration. He is a frequent presenter on a wide range of legal issues including legal ethics, intellectual property, and civil procedure. He currently divides his time between offices in Salt Lake City and New York City.
