Career
Bernhard is a partner at CERHA HEMPEL. With 20 years’ experience in the area of competition law, he heads the firm’s Antitrust and Competition Practice Group comprising lawyers from its office in Vienna and its CEE offices.
Bernhard is renowned for his know-how in complex (Phase II) merger control proceedings and high profile cartel proceedings at the EU and national level – this especially includes on-site advice during dawn raids.
He has vast experience in designing and implementing compliance management systems and in establishing national and international distribution networks with a special focus on the tech sector. He also advises clients on damage claims that are made following competition law infringements.
