Arik represents informal and official committees of creditors, ad hoc groups, debtors, individual creditors, rights offering backstoppers, and rescue, DIP and exit lenders in both in-court and out-of-court restructurings. Arik plays a major role advising victims in many of the largest opioid-related bankruptcy cases in the industry. He has also represented lenders and administrative agents in non-restructuring-related loans, including leveraged loan transactions, mezzanine financings and more traditional loans. In addition, he has represented creditors in the analysis of all types of debt documents and capital structures. Significant matters include those involving Purdue Pharma, Mallinckrodt, HONX, Endo International, Insys Therapeutics, Achaogen, Pernix and Hertz, to name a few.
