April Doxey

April Doxey is a partner in Willkie's Finance Department, based in the firm's Chicago office. She is a nationally recognized leader in the private credit industry. April regularly serves as lead counsel for private credit funds, special situation and opportunistic funds, and other investment advisors, leading financial institutions, and borrowers across the full spectrum of credit transactions — including leveraged buyouts, recapitalizations, rescues, exits, out-of-court restructurings, and broadly syndicated financings. Her practice spans both performing credit and the finance dimensions of in-court and out-of-court workouts and restructurings. April has significant experience representing a diverse range of clients, including investment banks, private equity sponsors, and public companies, in financings through emerging markets across the globe.
