Anne Christine Wettre is a partner at Ræder Bing and has extensive experience advising on insolvency, bankruptcy and restructuring matters. She has been a partner since 2016 and is regularly appointed by the courts as trustee and administrator in bankruptcy estates.

Wettre combines strong technical expertise with broad commercial understanding, and is particularly recognised for her work relating to monetary claims, security rights, enforcement processes and regulatory frameworks. Her practice includes advising on mortgages and pledges, property-related insolvency issues, VAT and compliance matters, as well as regulatory requirements for financial institutions and debt collection companies.

In addition to her work in formal insolvency proceedings, she advises clients on restructuring situations and distressed scenarios, including creditor negotiations, governance issues and interactions with public authorities. She also has significant experience assisting clients in audits and investigations by the tax authorities.

Wettre is a visible and trusted voice on insolvency-related issues in Norway. She regularly contributes to national media, including Finansavisen, and is a recurring expert on the widely followed podcast Henlagt, where she provides insight into insolvency and enforcement processes. She also contributes to professional legal podcasts, including Råd om Rett.

She is actively engaged in academia and is a lecturer in insolvency and bankruptcy law at the University of Oslo. In addition, she is regularly appointed as examiner and thesis supervisor at both the University of Oslo and the University of Tromsø.

Career

Before joining Ræder Bing she worked as an attorney at Euler Hermes Kredittforsikring and was responsible for compliance and contract law issues.
