The team is regularly appointed as court-appointed trustee in complex bankruptcy estates and is considered one of Norway’s most experienced teams within this field.

The practice handles a significant volume of bankruptcy estates annually, including matters of substantial complexity and public interest. The team advises a broad range of stakeholders, including management, boards of directors, creditors, lenders, employees and public authorities.

Ræder Bing assists in all phases of restructuring, including financial restructuring, debt negotiations and insolvency proceedings. The team is particularly recognised for its work in trustee appointments, asset recovery and investigations, and regularly advises on matters involving financial and potential criminal liability, including assignments involving Økokrim and the Norwegian Tax Administration.
