Andrew Goddard KC specialises in commercial litigation and arbitration, concentrating on advising and acting on major construction, infrastructure and IT disputes, and related energy and professional negligence matters. He is an innovative problem solver committed to finding solutions which produce better outcomes for his clients. He has significant experience of PPP and PFI infrastructure disputes as well as with high-value, complex disputes arising out of more traditional project delivery models, both in the UK and internationally. He has acted in numerous disputes referred to arbitration under the auspices of the ICC, HKIAC, SIAC, LCIA and the LMAA. He has an interest in Investor-State disputes and has acted as Counsel in matters before ICSID. He has been appointed as Arbitrator, Adjudicator and Legal Expert in various disputes in the UK and abroad. He is based in London, but his practice regularly takes him to Asia-Pacific (where he is a regular speaker at events across the region) the Gulf and the Caribbean. He has been admitted on an ad hoc basis to the bars of Hong Kong, Trinidad and Tobago, and Tanzania.
