Ana's practice encompasses a wide range of immigration and asylum law, as well as European law. She represents clients at all stages of their applications. She is an experienced litigator having conducted cases in the Administrative Court, Court of Appeal, Supreme Court and Court of Justice of the European Union. Ana is an internationally recognised expert in gender, transgender and sexuality-based asylum claims and has extensive expertise in representing victims of human trafficking. She also has an expertise in asylum cases based on apostasy. She has conducted Country Guidance litigation for victims of trafficking from Nigeria and Albania. She has been actively involved in advising EEA nationals on Brexit at a number of public events. She can advise on any rule based immigration application and on all aspects of routes to British Citizenship.
Ana qualified as a solicitor at Wilson Solicitors LLP in 2003. She was appointed a partner of Wilson Solicitors LLP in 2010.

Originally from Spain, Ana moved to the UK in 1994. Long distance running is a big part of Ana's life. She is both a marathoner and an ultra-marathoner.
Ana represents individuals, local authorities and charities. She advises many local authority social services departments to assist children in care to apply for citizenship. She advises many EU nationals and speaks regularly at advice sessions arranged by MPs and voluntary organizations. She regularly presents pro-bono webinars for a number of refugee charities.
