Alexander De Zordo is a partner and trial lawyer in BLG’s Commercial Litigation Group in Montreal. He regularly acts for financial institutions, securities dealers and brokers, corporate victims of fraud, high-tech companies, as well as domestic and international corporations of every size in the context of complex (high-octane) litigation, class actions, securities litigation, injunctions, investigations, enforcement, trials, and arbitrations. He has particular experience defending banking, securities, and consumer class actions. Fellow of the International Academy of Trial Lawyers.
Career
Alex has been litigating for 30 years, the past 20 years at BLG after 10 years in a boutique litigation firm. He served on BLG’S Partnership Board from 2014 until 2020 and was Chair of the firm from 2017 to 2020. He was a founding member of Justice Pro Bono and is still an active board member as Past Chair of that organization.
