Alex is a partner, and joint head of Lewis Silkin's Sports Business group. She is a commercial and IP lawyer, specialising in the exploitation of commercial rights in sport advising on a range of sports marketing and commercial matters, including global sponsorship deals, media rights agreements and brand protection. Her clients include federations, athletes, brands, agencies and other sport-centric businesses. Alex is skilled in drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements. She also has strong IP credentials and regularly helps clients protect and enforce their IP assets. Alex is a global expert on ambush marketing and the special legislation that sports rights holders implement in relation to major events.

Alex is on the Editorial Board of Law in Sport for IP.

Alex was an international swimmer, winning gold and two silver medals in the relay at the 1994 Commonwealth Games. She swims regularly and is a non-executive board member of British Swimming.
