Colin is an Employment Partner at Lewis Silkin. His substantial client base is drawn from all industry sectors but with a particular focus on Technology, Financial Services and Professional Services. Colin advises on all areas of employment law, but has particular expertise on equal pay, discrimination and whistleblowing claims and platform or “gig” economy matters, working on a number of high profile employment status disputes. Colin advises regularly on trade union and collective rights matters and also has a keen interest in cross-border work, the employment aspects of corporate transactions, and High Court employment disputes. Colin leads Lewis Silkin’s work on gender pay gap, executive pay gap, and modern slavery reporting.
Colin trained at Baker McKenzie from 2001 to 2003, joining its Employment Department on qualification. He left to join Lewis Silkin as a partner in April 2012.
