Adriana is an environment specialist with 21 years of exclusive dedication to environmental law. She is specialized in procedural law, focused on class actions and collective claims. She is also graduated on environmental management, which gives her a technical knowledge that is very helpful to deal with the legal and the technical aspects of the presented problems. She has experience within private and public sectors. Her practice covers environment consultancy, due diligences and litigation. She has huge expertise in complex judicial and administrative litigation involving environmental law. In addition, she has provided environment law support to several of the most important M&A and project finance transactions in the country.

Career

She began her career in the environmental area at Pinheiro Neto Advogados. She later worked in the Legal Department of the Environmental Company of the State of São Paulo (CETESB), where she worked directly in the area of ​​highly complex judicial litigation. She worked for almost a decade at Cescon Barrieu, where she also coordinated the environmental area. She later worked in the environmental area at TozziniFreire Advogados and at Gasparini, Nogueira de Lima e Barbosa Advogados, a mid-sized, full-service law firm with a strong presence in the forestry market.

Adriana is a member of the Environmental Commission of the OAB/SP and of the Brazilian Union of Environmental Lawyers (UBAA).
