Practice Areas
Adam Goldenberg is a skilled and tenacious courtroom advocate who handles trials, appeals, and arbitrations across Canada. His practice focuses on commercial and public law disputes, including regulatory and constitutional litigation. He has been counsel in more than 20 appeals to the Supreme Court of Canada, spanning myriad areas of law, and before the courts of British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario, New Brunswick, and the federal courts.
Personal
Adam served as a law clerk to Chief Justice Beverley McLachlin at the Supreme Court of Canada and to the judges of the Court of Appeal for Ontario. He has taught appellate practice and procedure at the University of Toronto and lectured at law schools across Canada. He is the co-founder and a board director of Gakino'amaage (Teach For Canada), and a former board chair of Action Canada. Adam regularly acts pro bono for individuals and organizations, particularly in matters affecting 2SLGBTQI+ communities.
