Career
Adam completed pupillage at 199 Strand where he was a tenant until joining 9 Gough Chambers (now Deka Chambers) in 2006. His career has always focussed on Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence, predominantly acting for Claimants. Adam has built up an outstanding reputation with his ability to put clients at ease, providing clear advice in a sensitive and effective way. He is liked and well respected amongst peers and known as a tough court room advocate. In negotiations, Adam is tenacious on behalf of his clients.
Adam has been head/joint head of the Personal Injury Team at Deka Chambers since 2019, where he has developed a series of webinars and training programmes. His current workload includes catastrophic spinal and brain injuries, pedestrian and general road traffic accidents and a variety of employer liability claims. Adam continues to undertake a significant proportion of Clinical Negligence and Inquest work. Adam represent clients across the country and at all level of court.

Adam has contributed to a number of publications including Jordan’s Guide to Road Traffic Accidents; 9 Gough Square Clinical Negligence volumes 1-4 and as co-editor of APIL’s updated Guide to RTAs.
Personal
Adam was educated at the University of Leeds. He is married with three children. Adam is Chair of a Mental Health Charity; trustee of a social care charity and enjoys playing (and watching) most sports
