Edwin is instructed in a wide range of complex police, personal injury and professional negligence claims.
Police Law and Inquests: He often advises and represents police forces and government agencies in police related civil claims and inquests. He was recently instructed to represent Security Staff in relation to a civil claim arising out of the Fishmongers’ Hall Terror Attack of 2019. In 2022 he was instructed by a family in substantial civil claim for malicious prosecution arising out of the Post Office Horizon computer system scandal.
Personal injury: Edwin generally represents Claimants, mainly through trade unions, in serious personal injury claims in the High Court. Many cases involve amputation injuries, spinal injuries and often concern fatal accident dependency claims.
Professional Negligence claims: Edwin acts for both sides in professional negligence claims. His cases usually involve solicitors and the mishandling of litigation.
