Restructuring:

M&A:

Private Equity & Fund Formation
Weil has been one of the pioneers of private equity law and is recognized by the industry as one of only a small number of elite, market leaders in this field. The firm represents many of the highest profile private equity funds, sovereign wealth funds and pension funds, as well as family offices and other equity financial investors. With more than 200 private equity lawyers worldwide, Weil advises more than 300 private equity clients, including 9 out of the 10 largest global private equity funds as ranked by PEI 300 2020. The firm’s Private Funds Group is a market-leading practice specializing in the formation of private investment funds across varied sizes and investment strategies, including buyout funds, growth equity funds, infrastructure funds, real estate funds, credit funds, secondary funds and special situations funds. the firm raises funds for multibillion-dollar funds to middle-market funds to funds for emerging clients.
