Estudio Navarro Abogados was founded in 1974, as a labour and employment firm, by the lawyer Luis Navarro Egaña, an expert in labour law who has a distinguished career as a legal advisor to companies. In 2014, the criminal law practice area was incorporated into the firm.

Currently, the firm provides personalized and comprehensive advice on labour and criminal matters, focused mainly on national and international companies established in Chile in different fields, standing out for their professionalism, excellence, commitment and seriousness.

Estudio Navarro's advice on criminal matters includes the representation of its clients -individuals and/or national and foreign companies- in highly complex cases and trials. If necessary, the advice is developed in coordination with the labour area of the firm for the filing of complaints in cases that arise labour contingencies.

The firm's criminal team is prepared to deal with regulatory updates in criminal matters, including those that are included in the recently promugated new White Collar Crime, which incorporates various and relevant modifications to the criminal system and crimes in particular, expanding the catalog of crimes for which companies can be criminally liable, legal entities that are subject to criminal sanctions and the budgets for said responsibility, among other modifications.

The criminal department provides advice on the following matters:

• Business crimes, including in this category cybercrimes and crimes against intellectual and industrial property, the environment, trade secrets, among others;

• Design and implementation of Crime Prevention Models in compliance with the provisions of Law 20,393, which establishes the criminal liability of legal persons;
