Career

Attorney, Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, and Master’s degree in Labour Law, Universidad de Chile. Founding partner of Estudio Navarro Abogados and head of its Labour Law practice. He has over 40 years of experience advising companies from diverse industries, with particular expertise in collective bargaining.

His distinguished career includes serving as legal adviser to the Honorable Senate of the Republic of Chile and being invited by the Ministry of Labour and Social Security to participate in drafting the bill that reformed the Labour Justice system. He also served on the study commission reviewing amendments to the new Labour Procedure.

Internationally, he has represented the employer sector —including the metallurgical and metalworking industry— before the International Labour Organization (ILO).

In the business sector, he has been a member of the Labour Committee of the Sociedad de Fomento Fabril (SOFOFA) and has served for over 30 years as permanent labour counsel to the Association of Metallurgical and Metalworking Industries (ASIMET A.G.).
