Luis Navarro

Luis Navarro is a lawyer from Universidad Católica de Chile and holds a Master’s degree in Labour Law from Universidad de Chile. He has advised companies across a broad range of industries since 1974, with experience in collective bargaining and labour relations.

With more than 40 years of experience, Luis has advised the Chilean Senate as legal counsel and was invited by the Ministry of Labour and Social Security to participate in the legislative project that reformed the Chilean Labour Courts. He was subsequently appointed as a member of the Commission established to study amendments to the new Labour Procedure.

At an international level, he has represented the employers’ sector and the metal and metallurgical sector as a delegate before the International Labour Organization (ILO).

Luis has also played an active role in business associations, including as a member of the Labour Commission of the Chilean Industrial Development Society (SOFOFA) and as permanent labour adviser to the Association of Metal and Metallurgical Industries (ASIMET A.G.) for more than 30 years.
