Innovation

Diversity and Inclusion
Burges Salmon cultivates an open, collaborative and inclusive culture where diversity and inclusion are integral to the firm’s strategy. It has a Diversity Taskforce working on the development of its Ethnic Diversity Action Plan, focusing on key areas such as talent attraction, development and retention. In partnership with the University of Bristol Law School, Burges Salmon also launched its Diversity Mentoring Scheme to address the underrepresentation of minority ethnic groups in the legal profession.
The firm is committed to social mobility and has pioneered the introduction of legal apprenticeships with 8 solicitors qualified through the route to date.
