Overview

Ours is one of the largest labor and employment practice in Oregon, We provide counseling and dispute resolution services across the full spectrum of labor and employment law and work with employers throughout the nation to ensure compliance and avoid disputes by providing practical counseling and training. Should litigation or other employment-related disputes arise, we provide you with a vigorous, thorough and well-reasoned defense with the goal of meeting your business objectives at a reasonable cost. We:

  • Defend and represent employers in all aspects of labor and employment law, including class and collective wage and hour actions as well as multi-plaintiff and individual disputes involving discrimination (race, sex, age, religion and disability), non-competition, labor/management disputes, wrongful termination, retaliation, defamation, and breach of contract claims.
  • Litigate cases in state and federal courts as well as various government agencies (EEOC, DOL, NLRB, etc.).
  • Represent management in private labor arbitration matters and before the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) in all aspects of union-management relations, including union organizing campaigns and representation elections, unfair labor practice charges, and collective bargaining.  
  • Provide in-depth knowledge of deal negotiation and documentation; intellectual property protection, including non-compete enforcement and defense; and workplace investigations.
